In February, the global mobile refurbishment ecosystem converged on Barcelona for GSMx Barcelona 2026, bringing together wholesalers, retailers, repair businesses and technology providers from around the world.
For the M360 team, this wasn’t just another industry meetup. It was an opportunity to demonstrate how professional diagnostics, certification and transparent device testing are becoming essential infrastructure in the circular mobile economy.
The conversations, demos and reactions from visitors confirmed something we’d felt for a while: the refurbished device market is evolving quickly and demand for reliable testing and certification tools is growing with it.
Here’s what stood out from our week in Barcelona.
Turning diagnostics into a live experience
Most booths at industry events rely on presentations, brochures or recorded demos. At GSMx, we took a different approach.
Instead of explaining how the platform works, we built live diagnostic stations where visitors could test devices themselves and see the workflow in action. They didn’t just click through a UI – they interacted with an interface that felt like a natural extension of their own workflow. When a technician watches a hardware defect get identified in seconds on a high-resolution touch display, trust is built instantly.

The setup proved so compelling that several visitors asked to purchase the entire diagnostic station – hardware and all – right off the show floor.
Professional branding matters in a technical industry
From the live diagnostic station to our team’s attire – and yes, even our magenta socks — every detail was carefully considered to project authority and credibility.
The goal wasn’t purely aesthetic. It was about signalling that M360 is a professional platform built for device certification and diagnostics, not just another quick testing tool. In a market cluttered with shortcuts, M360 stood out as a serious, global player. We’re not just a utility – we’re a standard for certification and reliability.
What we observed at GSMx
The most valuable insights didn’t come from the booth itself. They came from conversations with wholesalers, retailers, refurbishers and marketplace operators.
Several trends appeared repeatedly:
- Constant engagement. Our stations were rarely empty. Resellers and wholesalers stayed significantly longer than the show average, diving deep into technical features.

- Immediate conversions. High-volume resellers – particularly from the US and Europe – didn’t wait to get home before signing up. Many registered on the spot and purchased Starter licences to begin benchmarking M360 against their existing processes.
- The trendsetter effect. We noticed competitors taking notes and, in some cases, attempting to replicate our live station concept. We’ll take that as the highest form of flattery. M360 is officially setting the standard for the Warehouse of the Future.
Supporting the circular mobile economy
The refurbished device market is no longer a niche industry. Our mission has always been to build trust in the used phone market – whether that’s a retailer in Paraguay or a large-scale US wholesaler requiring R2 certification. Our platform is designed to scale with the demands of the secondary device lifecycle.
Barcelona reinforced what we already knew: M360 is the bridge between a used device and a certified, reliable product.
This is a global ecosystem involving retailers, repair centres, marketplaces, logistics companies and enterprise buyers. At the centre of that ecosystem is trust. Buyers need confidence that devices have been properly tested. Sellers need proof that their grading and erasure processes meet professional standards.
M360 Diagnostics helps provide that structure through:
- Automated device diagnostics
- Standardised grading workflows
- Certified data erasure compliant with ADISA standards
- Downloadable certification reports for resale
These tools help businesses transform device testing from a manual, inconsistent task into a repeatable, auditable process.
Try the platform yourself
If you missed us at GSMx Barcelona, you can still experience the platform firsthand. New users can start with a free Pilot licence to test the diagnostics workflow in their own environment and evaluate how it fits into existing operations.
