IFA Berlin, Reconnect Berlin and the Circular Tech Awards, seen through twelve months of M360 on the road
By Matyas Kurta, Sales Manager, M360 Diagnostics · September 2026
Exactly one year ago, IFA Berlin was my very first trade show in M360 colours. I had joined the team a few months earlier, and I walked into the halls of Messe Berlin as a newcomer to the industry, representing M360 for the first time.
This September I went back. Same city, same venue, same industry. And almost nothing else was the same.
Three days, three rooms, one industry
The weekend packed three very different formats into one trip. Reseller Park at IFA, hosted in HUB27, brought together around 200 exhibitors and thousands of B2B visitors from the used and refurbished device world: traders, refurbishers, distributors, marketplaces and the software companies that serve them. If you wanted a snapshot of the European circular device economy in 2026, it was all in one hall.
Reconnect Berlin, organised by the Z Empire team on Friday evening, was the opposite format: a seated dinner with a limited guest list of decision-makers. No booths, no badge scanners, just long conversations about where this market is heading. Some of the most valuable exchanges of the entire weekend happened over that table, and the hosting was impeccable.
And on Saturday night, the Circular Tech Awards, professionally organised by the Mobi Hub team, celebrated the companies pushing the industry forward. Congratulations once again to all the winners. The energy in that room told its own story: this is no longer a niche. The circular device economy has its own stage, its own awards, and its own standards to live up to.
What a year changes
Between those two Berlins, the ones of September 2025 and September 2026, sit eleven trade shows and conferences across Europe and beyond, hundreds of live demos, new customers and partners in more than a dozen countries, and an M360 platform that shipped new features month after month.
The numbers matter, but the real change is harder to quantify and easier to feel. A year ago, most conversations started with the same question: “So, what is M360?” This year, they started in the middle. People arrived at our meetings already knowing the product, the certificates, the token model. Several came to find us because a partner had shown them a device certificate with our name on it. The introduction phase of those conversations has simply disappeared.
The same shift happened on a personal level. Last year I introduced myself to strangers. This year I was greeted by name, by companies that are among the most important in this industry, at the dinner table, on the show floor and at the awards It is a measure of how many devices, demos, follow-ups and honest conversations stand behind the M360 brand after twelve months of consistent presence.

The theme of the weekend: proof is the new currency
If one thread ran through every conversation in Berlin, it was this: the used device market is moving from promises to proof. Buyers no longer accept a grade because a seller says so. They ask how it was tested, how the data was erased, and what documentation travels with the device.
That is exactly the world M360 was built for: automated diagnostics, consistent grading, ADISA-certified data erasure, and an audit-grade certificate for every single IMEI. A year ago we were explaining why that matters. This year, the market was explaining it back to us.
This is still just the beginning
The conversations in Berlin also gave us plenty to take forward in the months ahead. To everyone we met at Reseller Park, at the Reconnect dinner and at the Circular Tech Awards: thank you for your time and your openness. You will hear from us.
And to everyone we did not manage to meet: the conversation is open. If you test, grade, erase or trade used devices, and you want to see what an audit-grade process looks like on your own stock, we will gladly show you. It takes about two minutes per device, and it changes how your buyers see everything you sell.
One year down. See you at the next one.
